Georgetown University is located in northwest Washington, DC, just across the Potomac River from Rosslyn, Virginia. The university’s main campus (the GURT 06 conference site) and our two recommended hotels are located within the historic and lively neighborhood of Georgetown. The closest subway stops to Georgetown are “Rosslyn” and “Foggy Bottom” on the Orange and Blue Lines and “Dupont Circle” on the Red Line (subway map ).
