Submission 2012
GURT 2012 will bring together researchers presenting replicable methodologies for quantitatively analyzing different facets of language, with an emphasis on sharing and incorporating perspectives and findings across a diverse range of linguistic inquiry. Proposals will be blind reviewed for their originality, quality, and breadth of relevance. In addition, colloquium proposals will be evaluated for the coherence and complementarity of their individual presentations.
Papers and Posters
Individual Papers: 20 minutes with a 10 minute discussion period.
Poster presentations: Displayed for a 2 hour block of time.
You may submit your abstract for a paper or poster by cutting and pasting your abstract into the Abstract Box through our submission interface. Paper and poster abstracts should be limited in length to 400 words with a 150 word program summary.
Colloquia
Colloquia are scheduled for 2 hour blocks. Organizers may choose to participate in the session as a presenter or discussant. Colloquium organizers should upload a Word (doc or docx) file containing:
- A 400 word abstract for the colloquium and a 150 word program summary for the colloquium.
- The schedule for the colloquium, with time allocated for opening and closing remarks, presentations, discussion, and audience response.
- A 400 word abstract and a 150 word program summary for each colloquium paper/participant.
