Call for Conference Proceedings 2007

We invite presenters at GURT 2007 to submit expanded versions of their presentations for consideration for publication in the annual GURT proceedings published by Georgetown University Press.

The Press has published the GURT series for over a quarter of a century. A new volume will be edited by current conference organizers.Papers will be peer reviewed and organized thematically in this high-profile and high-impact volume. In order to assure timely publication of the volume, please keep the following schedule in mind:

Please let us know by no later than April 20th, 2007 whether you plan to submit your paper for publication consideration. Please send notification E mail to gurt@georgetown.edu. We then requireelectronic submission of your paper by May 20th, 2007.

Papers should be approximately 20 double-spaced pages in length, prepared in 12-point Times Roman type font. If you use any special fonts (e.g. IPA symbols), please use the Doulos SIL Font 4.0.10 (Unicode) or one of the fonts in the SIL IPA 93 font set. These are available as free downloads from www.sil.org (new window). If the symbols you need cannot be found in these font sets, please let us know what font you used.
